The Local Church Conference (LCC) in the Wesleyan Church is the church’s annual business meeting where the church family comes together to prayerfully guide the life and ministry of the local church under the leadership of the Holy Spirit.
At the LCC, the church focuses on four main purposes:
- Receive: Members hear and review pastoral, ministry, and administrative reports that summarize the work, growth, and health of the church over the past year.
- Approve: The conference approves recommendations, reports, budgets, and ministry decisions that have been prepared by pastors, boards, and ministry leaders.
- Discern: The church seeks God’s direction together by selecting leaders, electing representatives to District Conference, and making decisions about the church’s future ministry, organization, and finances.
- In: Through prayer, unity, and shared mission, the church encourages and equips one another for continued spiritual growth, holiness, and effective ministry.
Ultimately, the Local Church Conference is more than a business meeting, it is a spiritual gathering where the church family works together in unity to strengthen the church and pursue its mission of helping people live and love like Jesus.

"The LCC is not just about church business — it’s about seeking God’s direction together."
