How Can We Pray for You?
You do not have to carry life alone. Whatever you are facing, we would be honoured to pray with you and for you.
Prayer is one of the ways we bring our needs, hopes, fears, questions, and burdens before God.
Whether you are facing stress, grief, illness, family concerns, spiritual questions, relationship struggles, loneliness, or a difficult decision, we believe God listens, cares, comforts, guides, strengthens, and works in ways we can see and ways we may not yet understand.
At Gateway Church, we would be honoured to pray with you.
God Cares
Nothing you are carrying is too small or too heavy to bring before God in prayer.
You Are Not Alone
We believe church is a family where people can be prayed for, encouraged, supported, and cared for.
Prayer Brings Hope
Prayer helps us turn toward God, receive His peace, seek His wisdom, and trust Him with what we cannot control.
Prayer Requests
Bring what you are carrying to God. We would be honoured to pray with you.
You do not have to carry life alone.
Whether you are facing stress, grief, uncertainty, illness, family concerns, spiritual questions, relationship struggles, loneliness, or a difficult decision, we would be honoured to pray with you.
You do not need to have perfect words. Your request can be detailed, simple, or as short as:
I need prayer.
God knows what you are carrying, and we would be honoured to stand with you in prayer.
Read: 1 Peter 5:7
Prayer is not just a religious activity. Prayer is relationship with God.
Through prayer, we bring our burdens, needs, gratitude, fears, hopes, and questions to a God who listens and cares.
Prayer does not always mean circumstances change immediately, but prayer helps us turn toward God, receive His peace, seek His wisdom, and trust Him in the middle of what we are facing.
At Gateway Church, we believe prayer is one of the most important ways we love, support, and care for one another.

You can ask for prayer about anything you are carrying.
You might request prayer for:
- health concerns,
- anxiety, stress, or discouragement,
- grief or loss,
- family or marriage concerns,
- work or financial pressure,
- spiritual questions,
- forgiveness and healing,
- loneliness,
- a difficult decision,
- a loved one,
- or a next step in your faith.
No request is too small. No burden is too heavy to bring before God.

When you submit a prayer request, someone from Gateway Church will receive it and pray.
If you ask for follow-up, someone may contact you with care and encouragement.
We will handle your request with respect and discretion. You do not need to share more than you are comfortable sharing.
If your request is something you would like to discuss further, you can let us know that you would like someone to follow up with you.
Read: James 5:13–16
We understand that prayer requests can be personal and sensitive.
Our desire is to handle every request with care, respect, wisdom, and discretion.
If you submit a prayer request, we will not treat it casually. We want to honour your trust and pray in a way that reflects the love and compassion of Jesus.
There may be rare situations where safety concerns require appropriate action, especially if someone is at risk of harm. In those cases, our desire is still to respond with care, wisdom, and protection.
If your situation is urgent or you are in immediate danger, please call 911 or contact local emergency services right away.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, thoughts of self-harm, or feel unsafe, please contact emergency services, a crisis line, or a trusted person immediately.
Prayer matters deeply, but urgent situations may also require immediate practical help and professional support.
If you need immediate mental health crisis support, you can call or text 988 for the Suicide Crisis Helpline.
Yes, you can ask for prayer for someone else.
When doing so, please share only what is appropriate and respectful. You do not need to include private details that are not yours to share.
You can simply say:
Please pray for someone I love who is going through a difficult season.
God knows the details, even when we do not share them publicly or fully.

God, I need Your help. You know what I am carrying, even when I do not have the words to explain it. Please meet me in this moment. Give me peace, wisdom, courage, and hope. Help me know that I am not alone. Lead me toward the next right step. Amen.
You do not need perfect words to pray.
God welcomes honest prayer.
