WELCOME TO GATEWAY KIDS.

Gateway Kids is the children’s ministry at Gateway Church.

We’re dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children to become fully devoted followers of Christ. Through age-specific lessons, activities, and small groups, children ages birth-6th grade learn biblical truths and real-life lessons they can apply to their lives every week in Gateway Kids.

Our kids’ programming is offered every Sunday during our 1st Service at 9AM and is available for kids Birth-Grade 8.

Our fantastic team of trained staff and volunteers are dedicated to ensuring your kids have a blast while you’re enjoying the Experience in the main auditorium. Who says church can’t be fun?

Children are checked in & out in their classrooms. We want you to feel safe knowing your family is in good hands. That’s our motto, "They’re in good hands."

Nursery [ages birth - 23 months]

Our nursery is a loving environment for your baby and toddler. We know it can be hard to leave your little one, and so we want to make that transition as easy as possible for you. Our caring, trained volunteers will ensure your baby receives the personal attention they need allowing you to have some time to yourself to enjoy our Experience uninterrupted.

SNACKERS: Preschool / Kindergarten [ages 2 - 5]

Our Preschool room is all about two things: Discovery and having fun! Oh, actually one more thing: Snacks! We want your children to feel like they belong and to have a blast while here! With programming specially geared for this age, your kids will learn what it means that God made them and loves them.

KINGDOM KIDS: Elementary [Grade 1 - 8]

This is our high-energy, supercharged program for grade school kids. Each Sunday, they learn how to live a life like Christ through fun games, awesome music and a Bible lesson tailored to their age and interests.

MOUNTAIN MOVERS: Ages 2+

If you have a child with special needs who might need a little extra support to participate in Gateway Kids, we'd love to partner with you to make their experience amazing! We have a class called Mountain Movers that is specially designed with appropriate sensory toys and activities, and have specified training members to help hangout with your child.

JUNIOR/SENIOR YOUTH GROUP: Grades 7 - 12

Sundays:
- Every second Sunday we offer a class during the service for grades 7 - 8.

GatewayKids FAQ

What will my child learn in GatewayKids?

The Bible is the most amazing book ever written, and we strive to bring its stories to life through creative activities and discussions that keep kids engaged. We want every child to love God's Word and understand the value of applying it to their lives. We know they'll have fun each week as they learn about who God is through games, activities, small groups, and video teaching.

Will my child make friends in GatewayKids?

Absolutely! Our room environments and lessons are designed to help your child grow with kids in the same age group. We're passionate about supporting them in each stage of life, so we provide GatewayKids options from birth-6th grade during all of our weekend experiences. Students in 6th-8th grade are invited to our multi-church Friday night junior youth experience, and Students in 9th-12th grade are invited to our multi-church Tuesday night youth experience.

When you commit to attending the same service each week, your child will be surrounded by a small group full of familiar faces. As kids build relationships with leaders and other children, they gain the support and confidence to grow in their faith.

How do I check my child into GatewayKids?

On your first visit, look for the GatewayKids' Guest Services area. If you can’t find it, one of our pastors or volunteers will be happy to help you!

At Guest Services, you'll be welcomed by a GatewayKids volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how GatewayKids works. To check your child in, we’ll need some information at that time, including a family member's name, your child's name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We'll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions!

How does GatewayKids ensure my child is safe and secure?

In GatewayKids, safety is one of our highest priorities. That's why we have a secure check-in system at every Gateway Church location and follow Plan to Protect protocols. Upon check-in, you'll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After the service, you'll show the LifeKids leader your matching tag in order for your child to be released from their room.

Every GatewayKids volunteer leader is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our team. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked people during each experience to make sure your child stays safe and secure.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we can either send you a text message or come and get you in the auditorium.
