First Time FAQ

What happens when I attend the first time?

• At Gateway, you’ll be welcomed into a friendly, casual environment by people who are excited to see you. And don’t worry—you won’t get lost. We’ll help you find your seat so you have the best experience. We can’t wait to see you!
• The main gathering area is straight through the main doors.  You will find comfy seats.
• Coat racks are to the right, and washrooms are to the left around the corner.

What do I wear to a church service?

• When you attend Gateway, you’ll find that everyone has their style, from casual to professional. We believe that church isn’t about what you look like or wear; it’s about who you are on the inside. Come just as you are.

What if I have a question?

• We want to talk with you and support you. You can talk with a pastor or caring volunteer who’d love to help you figure out your next step at church and in your relationship with Christ.

What about my kids?

• Your kids will love GatewayKids! While you attend service, your kids ages birth-6th grade will experience age-specific lessons, activities, and small groups designed just for them.
• We have a fantastic program for kids! If you don’t want to be in a rush and if it’s your first time with us, you might want to leave yourself an extra five minutes to get your little ones signed in. Also, you’ll want to make sure you’ve got time to grab a free coffee from our coffee table before you take a seat in the auditorium!

When do we meet?

• Our main Sunday Worship Experience happens on Sundays at 10:00 AM at 128 Mary Street, Arnprior, ON (the old Alexander Reid Public School). Whether you’re young or old, married or single – EVERYONE is welcome. We also have a variety of GROUPS that meet across the area throughout the week. Contact our church office to join one.
• We have parking available at the side entrance at the old Alexander Public School.

What can I expect during a Sunday Worship Experience?

• Our Sunday Worship Experience are exciting, casual, relaxed, and run about one hour in length. Each Sunday Worship Experience involves an update from our host on upcoming events, some modern music from the stage, and a relevant, engaging message.

Where do I park?

• We have parking available at the side entrance at the old Alexander Public School.
• There is a parking lot to the left of the school with lots of parking where you can park and then walk across the front of the building to the side entrance.

Do you need coffee in the mornings to function? So do we!

• Good news!! We have a coffee table every Sunday morning to serve you that fresh cup of goodness. Come early and grab a cup, or stay after the Sunday Worship Experience and chat with others.
