Generosity Is Worship
Giving is one of the ways we worship God, trust Him with our lives, and partner together in the mission of helping people know and follow Jesus.
At Gateway Church, we believe generosity flows from a heart that has experienced the grace and goodness of God.
Giving is not meant to be done reluctantly, under pressure, or out of guilt. Scripture teaches that "God loves a cheerful giver." Our desire is to give faithfully, joyfully, and prayerfully as an act of worship and trust.

Worship God
Giving is a way of honouring God with what He has entrusted to us and acknowledging that everything we have comes from Him.

Your generosity helps support Sunday worship, Gateway Kids, youth, Life Groups, pastoral care, outreach, missions, and everyday ministry.

Giving is an act of worship, trust, and obedience to God.
The Bible reminds us:
"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver." — 2 Corinthians 9:7
At Gateway Church, we believe generosity is not limited to finances. It is a way of life. We give our time, our gifts, our compassion, our service, our resources, and our love because God has first been generous toward us.
When we give financially, we are partnering together in the mission of the church and helping create opportunities for people to encounter Jesus, grow in faith, and experience hope.
Generosity is not simply something we do once in a while. It is part of becoming more like Jesus.
Jesus gave Himself fully for us. As His followers, we are invited to live with open hands, trusting God with what we have and using our lives to bless others.
That includes giving to support the work of the church, caring for those in need, serving with our gifts, showing hospitality, encouraging others, and using our resources for God’s purposes.
Giving is not about pressure. It is about worship, gratitude, faithfulness, and love.
Throughout Scripture, God’s people are invited to honour Him with their resources.
Tithing is a biblical pattern of giving that helps us place God first in our finances. Offerings are gifts given beyond that as an expression of worship, generosity, and mission.
We recognize that everyone’s financial situation is different. Our desire is not to pressure anyone, but to encourage each person to seek God, give faithfully, and grow in generous trust.
For followers of Jesus, giving is one way we say, "God, I trust You with every part of my life."

Through faithful giving, we are able to:
- create space for Sunday worship and teaching,
- support Gateway Kids, youth, Life Groups, and discipleship ministries,
- provide pastoral care, prayer, and spiritual support,
- serve people in need with compassion,
- support local and global missions,
- care for ministry spaces and resources,
- and help more people encounter the hope of Jesus.

Arise & Build is Gateway Church’s campaign connected to our future ministry home and our desire to expand our capacity to serve the community.
Our heart is not simply to build a building. Our desire is to create a place where lives are changed, people are welcomed, families are strengthened, disciples are formed, and the love of Jesus is shared in practical and meaningful ways.
We believe the future ministry campus can become a space that serves the wider community throughout the week, creates opportunities for partnership, and helps Gateway continue to bring hope to Arnprior and the Ottawa Valley.

This is a simple and secure way to give a reoccuring or one-time gift to support the ministry of Gateway Church online.
You can give by e-transfer through your banking app or online banking.

If you are giving for a specific purpose, such as general giving, missions, or Arise & Build, you may include a note in the message field of your e-transfer.
Regular giving can help you build a rhythm of generosity and help the church plan ministry with greater consistency.

If you prefer to give in person, offering boxes are available in the foyer during Sunday services. As well, offering is collected during our worship time.
You can place your offering in one of the boxes before or after the service or in the basket when passed around during service.
If you have questions about giving in person, receipting, or designated giving, please contact the church office.
If you prefer to give in person during service with your credit or debit card, we have a Square Terminal located on a table in the foyer for your convenience.
Print a receipt after your transaction, put your name on it with a pen, and then put it in one of the offering boxes located in the Sanctuary.

Gateway Church desires to steward financial resources with wisdom, integrity, transparency, and accountability.
Our finances are overseen through proper church governance, reporting, and accountability so that giving supports the mission and ministry of the church faithfully.
