We are so glad you are interested in joining a Life Group at Gateway Church.
We love gathering on Sunday mornings, but we also know that meaningful spiritual growth often happens in smaller circles — around tables, in homes, in conversation, in prayer, and in everyday life.
Whether you are new to Gateway, new to faith, or simply looking for deeper community, there is a place for you to connect, belong, and grow.
Build Friendships
Life Groups help people move from attending church to being known, encouraged, and supported in real relationships.
Grow in Faith
Groups create space to study Scripture, ask questions, pray together, and learn what it means to follow Jesus.
Walk Together
Life is not always easy, but we were never meant to walk alone. Life Groups help us carry one another with grace and love.
Join a Life Group
Find community, grow in faith, and take your next step with others.
A Life Group is a smaller gathering of people who meet regularly to share life, study Scripture, pray, ask questions, encourage one another, and grow as disciples of Jesus.
Life Groups are not about having everything figured out. They are about learning to follow Jesus together.
Whether you are new to faith, new to Gateway, or have been following Jesus for years, a Life Group can help you build meaningful relationships and grow in your walk with God.
We believe life is better together.
Sunday mornings are important, but it can be difficult to build deeper relationships in a larger gathering. Life Groups create space for conversation, prayer, friendship, and spiritual growth in a more personal setting.
In a Life Group, you can:
- build friendships,
- study the Bible with others,
- ask honest questions,
- pray and be prayed for,
- receive encouragement and support,
- grow in faith,
- and learn to follow Jesus in everyday life.
You were not created to walk alone.
We currently have a Life Group meeting on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM at the church.
This is a great opportunity to connect during the week, grow in faith, and share life with others from Gateway.
If you are interested in joining the Wednesday evening group, we would be glad to help you get connected.
If you are a woman looking for fellowship, friendship, encouragement, and connection with other Christian women, we would love to invite you to our Thursday Women’s Life Group.
This group meets on Thursdays at 10:00 AM.
It is a welcoming space to grow in faith, build friendships, and share life together.
We also have Life Groups that meet in homes throughout the week.
Home groups are a great way to build deeper relationships in a relaxed setting while growing in faith with others.
If you are interested in participating in one of our home groups, please email us and let us know that you would like to learn more about Life Groups at home.
Every Life Group has its own personality, but most groups include some combination of conversation, Bible study, prayer, encouragement, and time to connect relationally.
You do not need to be a Bible expert. You do not need to have all the answers. You are welcome to come, listen, participate at your own pace, and grow over time.
Life Groups are meant to be safe, welcoming spaces where people can ask questions, share honestly, and encourage one another as they follow Jesus.
No. You do not need to be a member of Gateway Church to join a Life Group.
If you are new, visiting, exploring faith, or simply looking for community, you are welcome to reach out and learn more.
Life Groups are one of the best ways to begin feeling connected at Gateway.
That is completely normal.
Joining a group for the first time can feel intimidating, especially if you do not know many people yet. You may wonder if you will fit in, if you will know what to say, or if you will feel out of place.
Please know that you are welcome. You can participate at your own pace. You do not need to say a lot right away. Simply showing up is a meaningful first step.
We would be glad to help you find a group that feels like a good fit.
Yes. You are welcome to visit a group and see if it feels like a good fit.
We understand that finding community can take time. Different groups may have different rhythms, locations, and styles, and we want to help you find a place where you can connect and grow.
If you are unsure where to begin, contact us and we can help point you in the right direction.
Getting connected is simple.
You can email the church office and let us know that you are interested in joining a Life Group. You can mention if you are interested in the Wednesday evening group, the Thursday Women’s Life Group, or a home group.
You can also ask questions if you are not sure which group would be the best fit.
